Be cool for school, ‘learn on-line' synthetic phonics
123 it's a fruity abc launches its new learn on-line synthetic phonics resource. It's a systematic approach as prescribed by the UK curriculum under the early years foundation stage.
A week by week guide to 'Letters and sounds', using synthetic phonics which is a proven method of promoting early reading and literacy.
The on-line resource mirrors the way in which letters and sounds are taught at school, so now every child can have an opportunity to access this at home, school or on holiday. A great advantage of on-line learning is that it also promotes important computer skills with cursor, mouse, click, and click and hold opportunities through a simple interface crammed full of fruit and vegetables.
Be cool for school is complete with a week by week word bank which helps demonstrate the sounding and blending of individual letters to form the whole word sound. The word bank is also downloadable to print out and use as flash cards as well as making some funny sentences along the way.
We have had great feedback from parents and teachers who have found it enormous value for only £2.99. And no hidden extras! |
